How to Delete Photos Uploaded to Shutterfly
shutterfly.com - your photo are permanently store on shutterfly.com
When you upload your photo to shutterfly.com, they are permanently stored on shutterfly.com. Afterwards you delete them, you cannot encounter your photograph merely they are in shutterfly.com database.
I contacted shutterfly, they clinch me that my photo are on shutterfly.com, they say what I see is cached on my local disk drive. I hope I am wrong. Can you guys endeavor the following :
upload a photo to shutterfly.com
click a photograph to b e selected so it has bank check marker.
Motion your cursor to low correct paw corner, a triangle with show.
Option 'mail to facebook, blog.' in the driblet downwardly listing.
Click next.
Click 'Get embed code' simply to a higher place Done button.
Copy the content in Permalink address box . This is the address your photograph will exist store permanently on shutterfly, even later you delete yous photo.
click Shut click Washed.
Now delete your photograph.
Paste the content to your brower accost bar, see your photograph again ?

Why don't you just give us the URL to the photograph you think shutterfly is storing against your will so we can bank check whether we are able to see it?
And if you don't want u.s. to see whatsoever of the particular photos you already accept there, create a new one for the purpose? I for ane am not going to get through all this effort for nothing, lamentable

If you clear your browser's cache, do you still come across it? Likewise, where did yous show your prototype? If could be that the site where you posted your image is maintaining a copy of the epitome on their own servers.
Sometimes with certain photo sharing sites, it takes a while for their ain servers to cease rendering an image after it has been deleted. It could exist that their site scans for revisions after a gear up number of hours.

My message is to warn shutterfly.com users that their photos are permanent stored in shutterfly.com database fifty-fifty after yous delete the photo.
Since you are not a shutterfly.com user, no worry for you lot.

It's true, Shutterfly does shop your photos after they have been "deleted forever". When I signed on it showed me my personal store offering plaques, mugs, telephone cases, etc .. all of which displayed pictures which had once been uploaded but were long gone. I Googled how to cull what pics I want displayed in the store and found this forum. I logged on from another computer, one on which I had never previously been to Shutterfly and at that place they were again. So, it's definitely non a "browser enshroud" event.
Fair alarm. When you hear that what you post is on the cyberspace forever, it's true. Deleted does non mean deleted. Think outset, then post!
